Report
This seminar was organised by VVLC Eco-Cub in association with Breakthrough Science Society Mysore Chapter, On ‘The Role Of Law In Developing Scientific Temper’. in this seminar Prof Roopa Rao, Rtd, Prof, Sharadavilasa BED College, Mysuru as a chief guest of this seminar spoke about how the education system should adopt scientific methods and process to make student understand the truth and fact. She also mentioned that our present teaching of since is not proper this system teaches much about history of since not scientific methods by coating some of the syllabuses which we adopted in school and college level.
Dr: G Sudha Associate Prof of Political Science, Member State Committee BSS, as a guest of this seminar spoke about the difference between social science and traditional science and she also mentioned about scientific approach of social science study. Very importantly she said about how some of the people use the religion and dharma for their benefit through which they exploit the people. Finally as a president of this seminar Prof K B Vasudeva, Principal VVLC, Mysuru in his presidential remarks mentioned about how such religious gurus misusing the society especially in the name of god and religion. This progrome was coordinated by Prashanth T M Asst Prof of Law VVLC, Mysore and more than 100 student were participated and they raised so many questions and the guest were answered to them.
