On 4th Nov 2016 ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ was organized by IOB, Mysore Main branch on “Public Participation in Promoting Integrity and Eradicating Corruption Programme”. Sri. Sudaresha Rao AN, Chief Manager Yadvgiri welcome the gathering. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Rangaswamy, Retd DY.SP, Mysuru, who spoke on prevention of corruption and its effects. He inspired the gathering by quoting various instances on corruption. He state that today corruption hinders political, economic and social progress of our country. There is a need to bring reform in the present governmental system and it should be made citizen oriented system. Finally he specified about the pledge to be taken by us being the citizen of this country.
Sri.Venkatesh Tapas, RVO, RO,Bangalore gave a citizen integrity pledge. ShriNutakiSai Prasad, Manager, IOB; Sri.P.Vishwanath, Secratory, VV Sangha, Sri.Venkateshwaran PV, Chieg Regional Manager,IOB and Prof. K.B Vasudeva, Principal, VVLC, Mysuru were present. Over 180 students participated in this occasion and took citizen integrity pledge.
The programme concluded by vote of thanks proposed by Sri. Dinakaran, Chief Manager, IOB, KR Mohalla Branch.
