Medium of Instruction

The medium of Instruction shall be English. However, the students shall have the option to answer the question paper in the examination either in English or in Kannada.

Attendance

No student shall be permitted to appear for the end-of-Semester examination in a given course unless he/she has, to the satisfaction of the course teacher, fulfilled the course requirements and has put in not less than 75% attendance in the course concerned.

Promotion against Lateral Entry and Exit

There shall be no lateral entry on the plea of graduation in any subject or exit by way of awarding a degree splitting the integrated double degree course, at any intermediary stage of integrated double degree course

Promotion

No student shall be promoted to the next year of the course unless he/she has passes a minimum of two subjects in each semester.

  • Students are required to successfully complete the entire course within ten years from the date of admission to the course(B.A.  LL.B., 5 Year Course), within six years from the date of admission to the course (B.3 Year Course).

Award of Degree

A Student shall be eligible for the award of the B.A. LL.B/ LL.B  Degree after he/she has successfully completed all the prescribed courses in all the Semesters and provided his or her character and conduct are found to be satisfactory during the course.

Award of Classes

70% and more First Class with Distinction
60% and above but less than 70% First Class
50% and above but less than 60% Second Class
40% and above but less than 50% Pass Class

  • SSLC / 10th grade Original Marks Card
  • I PUC / 11th grade Original Marks Card
  • II PUC / 12th grade Original Marks Card
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Migration Certificate (Only for CBSE and Non Karnataka Students)
  • Aadhar Card
  • Caste certificate and income certificate for SC/ ST students
  • Two sets of photocopies of all the above documents
  • Four passport size photos
