Dr. K.L.Chandrashekhara is Assistant Professor of Law, Vidyavardhaka Law College (KSLU), Mysuru. His primary research interests include Criminal Law, Comparative Criminal Procedure, Criminology & Penology, Criminal Psychology; Caste & Caste based violence, Human Rights, Dalit Movements and Kannada literature. He was editor of the Kannada weekly Kannada Times between 2007 and 2008. He has published in various Kannada literary and political magazines. Besides, he has edited Kannada Times Barahagalu Vol.1 (Writings from Kannada Times, 2008), Asamaana Bhaarata (A collection of articles on Caste, Caste Census & Reservation-ISBN 819096877-7 9788190968775, First Edition 2010), Samvidhaana-60: Saamajika Nyaaya Mattu Karnataka (a collection of articles on 60 Years of the Indian Constitution: Tracing the Journey of Social Justice in Karnataka, 2011), Deshavidenahaa! Kaalavidenahaa! (A collection of articles on contemporary cultural politics of Karnataka, 2011).
