Programme Report
On 30.11.2017 eco-club in association with Karnataka renewable energy development Ltd govt of Karnataka organized one day-workshop on Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation held at VVLC moot court hall. This progromme was inaugurated and addressed- Dr.B.SadashiveGowda, Principal Vidyavardhaka college of Engineering, Mysuru. Prof Sadashivegowda has shared his life time experience with regarding to renewable energy, particularly he spoke about installation of solar power energy in VVLC Engineering College and he inspired the participants to conserve energy and to depend on renewable energy. This inaugural session was Presided Prof K. B. Vasudeva, Principal, VVLC, Mysuru.
The second part of the workshop was Technical Session; the topic for presentation was ‘Role Of Renewable Energy And Energy Conservation in Present Scenario’ by Dr: DineshKumar D K, Project Engineer, Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd, Govt of Karnataka. He has shared his experience about Karnataka Govt as well as Union Govt efforts to conserve energy and progromme relating to renewable energy. The another part of this workshop was the competition (quiz), all participant participated in this quiz competition finally the winners received prizes at the valedictory function and all participants received participants certificates, this progromme was successful with the cooperation of all eco-club members, staff and students of Vvlc, mysuru. This workshop was coordinated by Prof. Prashanth T M, Prof.Rajesh M C and Prakash H M, Student President of Eco-Club.
