Ethnic day is celebrated in the most beautiful way. People of different regions celebrate this day in their own unique style according their culture. Some region dress up in ethnic style and perform their folk dances while others welcome this day in traditional way by making delicious ethnic food . On this day, everyone in their joyous mood celebrates and decorates their surrounding in traditional style.
An ethnic group refers to people who share a cultural heritage or historical tradition, usually connected to a geographical location or a language background; it may sometimes overlap religious or occupational groups. Ethnicity refers to the common heritage of an ethnic group. Members of an ethnic group often distinguish themselves from others by using items of dress to symbolize their ethnicity and display group solidarity.
On 25.04 2018 we celebrated Ethnic day in our college. It was inaugurated by Smt. Vineetha Former Principal of Sharada vilas law College Mysuru. She explain the importance of Ethnic day and its origin. Even she sang a song for entertaining our students. Our students participated in Best Ethnic Wear Male and Female Competition.
Ms. Roopa Final year Student won Best Ethnic Wear Female Award. She represent our Indian Traditional culture through her costume.
Mr.Abdul Rehman Final year Student won Best Ethnic Wear male Award.
