Vidyavardhaka Law College, Mysuru– A Leading Institution in Legal Education
Vidyavardhaka Sangha (VVS) stands as a synonym for quality education in the heritage city of Mysuru. VVS was established in 1949 by great visionaries namely Late Sahukar Channaiah and Late. K. Puttaswamy (Former Minister of Karnataka) Sri Na. Bhaddraiah, Sri.P.M.Chhikkaboraiah with the zealous enthusiasm of rendering service in the field of education for the desiring and deserving. There are ten educational institutions starting from nursery to Law College under the aegis of VVS. At present, VVS is under the able guidance and leadership of Sri Gundappa Gowda, President, Sri Shivalingappa B, Vice President, Sri P. Vishwanath, Secretary.
Vidyavardhaka Law College, Mysuru is one of the prestigious law colleges in Karnataka. Ever since its inception it has provided to be the best Institution in the University for having maintained excellent standard of education, faculty and infrastructure. The college has bagged about 145 ranks along with umpteen numbers of gold medal and cash prizes. The college has been recognized by the Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), Hubballi and recognized under 12-B and 2-F of U.G.C. The alumni of our college are serving as judges, legal officers, academicians, administrators and politicians of high repute, spread all over the country.
